NEERI Recruitment 2025 The CSIR-National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI) has issued several recruitment notifications for 2025, covering permanent as well as project posts. All such vacancies are open across different locations, such as Nagpur, Hyderabad, and Kolkata, with positions available in administrative and scientific fields.​

For regular (permanent) posts, NEERI is seeking online applications for Junior Secretariat Assistant (General, Finance & Accounts, Stores & Purchase) and Junior Stenographer posts. Recruitment drive, according to Advertisement No. NEERI/01/2025, which started on April 1, 2025, and will end on April 30, 2025. The applicants should be a minimum of 18 years of age, with the maximum age limit differing for different posts. The salary scale for the posts is Level-2 of the Pay Matrix (₹19,900–₹63,200), with an approximate monthly emolument of ₹36,493 in Nagpur. The applicants should have passed the 12th standard and should have the relevant typing or stenography skills.

In the project-based category, NEERI is providing several contractual posts. Interestingly, eight Project Associate I and II positions are available in Nagpur with applications open till April 22, 2025. Qualifying candidates should possess degrees of B.E./B.Tech in Civil or Computer Science, M.Sc., or M.E./M.Tech, having a maximum age of 35 years. Salaries vary between ₹25,000 to ₹35,000 per month depending on qualifications and experience.

Further, NEERI is hiring for Project Associate I posts at its Hyderabad and Kolkata Zonal Centres with different application dates between April 8 and April 11, 2025. The vacancies need applicants to hold a B.Sc. in subjects such as Chemistry, Environmental Science, or Microbiology, with a monthly salary of ₹20,000.
