Indian Bank Office Assistant Job 2025. The Indian Bank Trust for Rural Development (IBTRD) operates Indian Bank Rural Self-Employment Training Institutes (INDRSETI) across various lead districts. The institute is seeking applications from qualified and dynamic candidates for the position of Office Assistant at INDSETI Puducherry on a contractual basis for three years.

Educational QualificationGraduate (BSW/B.A/B.Com) with computer proficiency. Basic knowledge of accounting is preferred.
ExperiencePrior experience as an Office Assistant is desirable.
Language SkillsFluency in local language (Tamil) is mandatory. Proficiency in English and Hindi will be an added advantage.
Technical SkillsKnowledge of MS Office, Internet, and Tally is essential. Must possess English typing skills. Tamil typing will be an added advantage.
Other RequirementsA valid driving license is preferred as the role involves field visits.

Selection Process:

The selection will be based on the following evaluation methods:

  1. Written Test – Assessing General Knowledge and Computer Proficiency.
  2. Personal Interview – Evaluating Communication Skills, Leadership Abilities, Problem-Solving Skills, and Developmental Approach.

Note: Candidates who qualify may be placed on a waiting list for future vacancies. The validity of empanelled candidates will be for one year.

Other Important Terms & Conditions:

  1. The appointment is purely contractual and does not guarantee permanent employment with Indian Bank.
  2. The contract will be reviewed annually and renewed based on performance.
  3. Termination of employment can occur at any time due to unsatisfactory performance.
  4. Candidates with past disciplinary issues may not be considered.
  5. The selected candidate must join within 15 days of receiving the offer letter.
  6. A medical fitness certificate from a government medical officer must be submitted before joining.
  7. Confidentiality Agreement: The selected candidate must not disclose any sensitive information related to INDSETI.
  8. In case of any falsified details in the application, the contract will be terminated immediately.
  9. Resignation: A one-month notice is required for resignation.
  10. Misconduct or non-performance may lead to disciplinary actions, including termination.
